Transformers 2 Character Images

Here are first look at some of the new characters in Transformers 2.The Twins,Arcee, the pink motorcycle, the main villain of the movie The Fallen and Devastator.
Info:The "Fallen" mentioned in the title is a double-entendre: it refers to the Transformers who fell in the first film, but also refers to the Fallen, an apocalyptic god-like Transformer who appeared in the comic books.

Underworld:Rise of the Lycans

If you've seen Underworld and Underworld Evolution, this movie is all about why there is a blood war against the vampires and the lycans(werewolves). It tells the story of Lucian,a Lycan and Sonja,a vampire and there forbidden love. The movie does well in telling the story of the start of the war. It's like Tristan and Isolde and Romeo and Juliet only it involves the immortal damned.Fans of the franchise would definitely get there money's worth. It has the action and effects just like its predecessor. While it does great on these aspects, viewers might find the cinematography a little too dark.Even though it is almost filmed entirely at night, some of the lighting didn't quite had that ideal effect. And the movie toned down the gore of the fights, which was quite disappointing considering the fights in Underworld :Evolution.Well, even so,I still enjoyed the movie.Even though I didn't get to see little Selene,Kate Beckinsale's Selene came out at the end to finish (or start) the story.

Push

Push feels like a continuation of the movie Jumper. The categories are somewhat the same, jumper, reader, pusher. The movie shows a lot of good special effects but it lacks a solid original story. It's like watching heroes only with bigger stars.A lot of things and events are left unexplained and not at all times does the cinematography worked for the movie.Push delivers all the action and effects but fails at delivering a good story. It didn't breakout of the shadows of its predecessors like the X-men or other comic book movies.

Twilight

This movie really is for fans of the book series and teenagers. The movie does a well enough job in the adaptation of the book but still produces a certain "Zzzzzzz" factor to other moviegoers.Still the movie still presents good locations and lighting as well as music.Teens will surely be mesmirized at the sight of Edward, envy Bella for having caught the eyes of Edward and they will fall in love with the story about a girl falling in love with a vampire boy. With a lot of catchy and cheesy lines,Twilight and its coming sequels will probably become,if it hasn't already, the new "Teen Awaited" flicks in the years ahead.

Taken

This movie is not your typical father daughter rescue flick. This B-movie brings in all the needed ingredients that you might expect from a Luc Besson show. It's full of action and suspense as well as a little bit of humor.Although there were times that it became a little bit far fetched but thats what movie goers expect. They go for the one man army who can take a hundred threats head on.Taken is worth the money.Just imagine Harrison Ford's character in Firewall only he has the skills of Jason Bourne.

Slumdog Millionaire

It's simple. It's a great film.Slumdog Millionaire delivers. It's one of director Danny Boyle's best film. It's heart breaking and exciting at the same time. You will never leave your seat once you start watching the film.Slumdog has great visuals, loved the cinematography as well as its musical score.Dev Patel showed promising work as well as the rest of the cast.Boyle really mixed all the elements with great acting of the cast to show a movie winner.I really recommend you watch this Slumdog winner.
