Going Up?

A new feature from the guys that brought us Monster's Inc.,Wall-E and the Incredibles.Up is about a flying house, its owner and a little-big scout who happens to be in the porch when the house starts to fly and there adventures as they fly away to wherever it is there going.Pixar really knows how to deliver this genre.Wall-E was great so i'd expect this to be as well.

Let me in....

This movie is considered as a rebirth of the genre. It made vampire flicks scary again.Let the Right One In is a French feature based on the book by John Ajvide Lindqvist. It's a telling tale of a boy who finds love and friendship with a girl who turned out to be a vampire. The movie is a must see.

My Sassy Girl kicks ass!!

My favorite sassy girl is back with this Live-action remake of the 2000 Anime Movie of the same name. The movie stars "My Sassy Girl" Jun Ji Hyun(Now using the name Gianna Jun,the English translation of her name) as Saya, the last of her kind. She's a halfling and her mission is to wipe out demons in post WWII Japan. She still looks beautiful and the trailer kicks ass. There's nothing more sexy than a girl fighting demons in a school girl uniform.

Raimi's Back

Sam Raimi, the director that brought us the Spider-man series has come back to his roots, horror flicks.Drag Me To Hell ushers Raimi's return to the genre in which he got famous.Namely the "Evil Dead" series. After seeing the trailer,I can firmly say Raimi still has the ability to scare the audience and make them laugh in the process. It opens On May 29,2009.

Mann's Enemy

Here comes another Michael Mann(Collateral) film,Public Enemies which stars Academy Award Nominee Johnny Depp,Academy Award Winner Marion Cotillard and Christian Bale.It tells the story of America's first "Public Enemy No. One",John Dillinger, during the height of crime in America in the 1930's.Check the trailer. The movie opens on July 1st.

Inglorious Tarantino...

Check out the teaser trailer from Quentin Tarantino, the story of Jewish-American soldiers known as "The Basterds" who are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the entire Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis soldiers and officers. The film opens this August

Extra tid-bit:The scar on Brad Pitt's neck will not be mentioned in the film. However, it hints that his character survived lynching, a common punishment in the early 1900's.

Wild Things

Here is a first look at the new Spike Jonze film "Where the Wild Things Are."It's sort of fun and scary at the same time. For the rest of the pics, click on the link....

The Vatican disapproves Angels and Demon

The Vatican will probably call for a boycott for Angels and Demons, the big-budget follow-up to The Da Vinci Code by award winning director Ron Howard, saying that they "cannot approve" to a problematic film. However warnings have been said to the possible "boomerang effect" of such a boycott just like what happened to The Da Vinci Code.We will just wait to see what happens. It opens this May 15.What do you think?
